We know when you are talking about your child there is vulnerability involved. Many Moms have referred to Kristin as firm but warm. She has a way with this age group. She respects their input and helps them stay open to new ideas by asking great questions. Most importantly Kristin helps 16-26-year-olds find their voice and believe in themselves. She shows them that their ideas, thoughts, and happiness is most important when deciding on a career that will make THEM happy.

This is why you should trust Kristin to work with your emerging adult. They will be her priority.

While Kristin is working with your child, she will keep you in the loop on the types of careers and other topics that come up during their sessions. She will be looking for insight from you on what you are seeing at home and things you remember from your child’s younger years. All of this data matters! And your thoughts and, feelings matter too.

The one thing we want you to be aware of is your reactions to your son or daughter, matter. One small cock of an eyebrow can plunge your kiddo back into feelings of insecurity about their career choices. We want to remind you to always ask more than you tell and trust that your young adult will choose what is right for them! If we have not told you enough, Kristin is all about facts and making sure your emerging adult is looking at the whole picture; the activities the job entails, the amount of education required, what that education entails (college, community college, credentials, internships, accreditation, etc.) and what kind of salary that position will offer. Once you have the facts, you and your child can determine the best step forward. We need you to be open to the discussion and let your young adult talk through all the options.

We love to get phone calls so don’t shy away from just picking up the phone and giving us a call! We answer our phone without a phone tree and will call you back as soon as possible if we are in a training session.
